As a demonstration of transparency and continuity in state governance, the procedure for acting presidency and other significant decisions have been included in the latest issue of the Official Gazette. During President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's official visit to Hungary on May 20-21, 2025, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will act as President, in accordance with Article 106 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye. This decision, conveyed to the Grand National Assembly Speakership by a Presidential letter dated May 19, 2025, has since been published in the Official Gazette.
