TES-İŞ and OEDAŞ Sign Collective Bargaining Agreement: New Gains for Employees!

Ankara – TES-İŞ Union, one of the significant labor organizations in the energy sector, has successfully concluded its extensive and meticulous collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations with Osman Gazi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (OEDAŞ). The agreement, reached after intense effort, a participatory approach, and transparent negotiations, has been signed with significant gains for TES-İŞ members and is now in effect.

Intensive Negotiation Process Successfully Concluded

The collective bargaining talks at OEDAŞ, which had been ongoing for some time, were conducted in a spirit of mutual understanding and compromise between union and employer representatives. From the outset of the process, TES-İŞ Union exerted great effort to protect and enhance its members' rights to the highest degree. The negotiations, carried out transparently, were crowned with the preservation of existing rights as well as the achievement of new and substantial gains, thanks to the union's determined stance and strong member support.

New Rights and Improvements for Employees

While the details of the newly signed collective bargaining agreement are shared by TES-İŞ in an accompanying information presentation, the agreement is expected to offer comprehensive benefits to OEDAŞ employees. Typically, such agreements include inflation-protected wage increases, improvements in social rights (such as bonuses, meal and travel allowances), regulations on working conditions, and provisions related to job security. This agreement aims to enhance the welfare level of OEDAŞ employees and raise their standards in working life.

Speaking on behalf of the TES-İŞ General Headquarters Executive Board, General Chairman İrfan Kabaloğlu expressed his hope that the new collective bargaining agreement would be beneficial for all members working at OEDAŞ and for the union organization. Kabaloğlu extended his thanks to all parties who contributed to the negotiation and signing processes, emphasizing that this success is a product of union solidarity.
