ANKARA – A significant update has been made to the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSÜ) Oral and Dental Health Education, Practice and Research Center Regulation, as per the amendment published in the Official Gazette on May 27, 2025. This change introduces new regulations regarding the center's administrative structure and personnel qualifications, aiming to enhance the quality and efficiency of health services. According to information published today (Tuesday, May 27, 2025) in the Official Gazette, Issue No. 32912, the "Regulation Amending the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Oral and Dental Health Education, Practice and Research Center Regulation," prepared by Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, has entered into force.

New Standards for Personnel Qualifications

With Article 1 of the Regulation, the first paragraph of Article 14 of the original Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Oral and Dental Health Education, Practice and Research Center Regulation, published in the Official Gazette dated 29/4/2018, Issue No. 30406, has been re-regulated.

According to the new regulation, the qualifications sought for personnel to be assigned to the center have been made more detailed and specific. Now, candidates must hold at least a four-year undergraduate degree as per relevant legislation, and meet one of the following criteria:

• Undergraduate degree holders in health administration, healthcare institution management, or health management,
• Or undergraduate degree holders with state civil service experience,
• Or preferably those who have completed a master's degree in healthcare institution management or health management,
• Or candidates with at least five years of experience in hospital management services will be selected from.

These new criteria specifically aim to strengthen the center's management capacity by ensuring the employment of qualified personnel for critical positions such as administrative and financial affairs.
