Türk Metal Union's 23rd Children's Council Convened in Ankara: Children, Guarantees of the Future, Became a Breath of Life for the Future

Ankara – The Metal Children's Friends Club, operating under the Türk Metal Union and aiming to contribute to the social, cultural, and personal development of children, held its 23rd Children's Council meeting in Ankara. The four-day program, which took place between June 22-25, 2025, at Anadolu Hotels Esenboğa Thermal in Ankara, was attended by approximately 500 children from regions where the union is organized.

Memorial Forest Established, Anıtkabir Visited

Within the scope of the specially prepared program for children, who are the guarantors of our future, significant events were held. On Tuesday, June 24, a tree-planting ceremony was conducted in a memorial forest established in the name of the 23rd Children's Council delegates. By planting saplings with their own hands, the children both gained environmental awareness and left a meaningful mark for the future. The Children's Council activities concluded on Wednesday, June 25, with an emotional visit to Anıtkabir, the eternal resting place of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Games, Workshops, and Messages of Gratitude

Throughout the four-day program, children enjoyed themselves thoroughly by participating in games and various workshop activities together. At the end of the program, the children expressed their feelings, conveying their satisfaction and thanks to the Türk Metal Union, especially its General Chairman Uysal Altundağ, for these meaningful events organized for them.

This special project of the Türk Metal Union once again demonstrated the importance it places on the development of children, and how crucial it is for the union movement to invest in future generations and raise them as conscious individuals.
