KESK Co-Chair Ayfer Koçak made a strong statement in Gaziantep, demanding real collective bargaining with the right to strike, wages above the poverty line, secure employment, and a democratic working life for public employees.

KESK will establish an "alternative collective bargaining table" on Aug 1st outside the Labor Ministry to announce demands for public employees, including strike rights, fair wages, and an end to precarious employment, amid strong criticism of economic policies.

The Birleşik Kamu-İş Confederation announced its demands for the 8th Collective Bargaining Agreement in a press conference in Bursa. The confederation demanded the right to strike, salaries above the poverty line, and rent support.
