Law No. 7548, published in the May 30, 2025 Official Gazette, brings key amendments to the Civil Servants Law regarding public recruitment and the selection of the President of the Conflict of Jurisdictions Court.

The Official Gazette dated July 18, 2025, introduced the right to part-time work for civil servants who are new parents, along with new technology development zones and urgent expropriation decisions.

On Pensioners' Day, Emekli Memur-Sen President Ali Küçükkösen led a protest, demanding the reflection of the 16,150 TL flat-rate pay in pensions, highlighting a 300,000 TL two-year loss for retirees and broader social security injustices.

Memur-Sen-affiliated unions took to the streets across Turkey to protest the government's low wage increase offer in collective bargaining. The unions demanded a fair offer and compensation for economic losses.
