Koop-İş Union stands firm in its protests against the 2025-2026 Public Collective Bargaining Agreement offer: "We cannot make ends meet, we will not be silent, we will not back down."
Following an evaluation by the Public Sector Collective Bargaining Agreements Coordination Board, established under the TÜRK-İŞ Confederation, and its affiliated union presidents, the government's offer for the 2025-2026 public sector collective agreement was declared unacceptable.
In this context, Koop-İş Union initiated an action plan, declaring, "We will not stop until we get what our labor deserves." The first step of this plan was put into effect on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with the reading of declarations at all workplaces. Demands were reiterated during this action, which saw the participation of union executives and members.
On June 26, 2025, members continued their protests by exercising their right not to work until noon in their workplaces.
In a statement, Koop-İş Union declared that they would continue to implement the action plan with all their members. The statement emphasized, "We cannot make ends meet, we will not be silent, we will not back down!", stressing that the struggle will continue until a fair and negotiable offer is presented.
