ANKARA – HAK-İŞ, one of Turkey's leading labor confederations, has strongly condemned "Zionist Israel's" recent attacks on Iran, drawing attention to the escalating tension in the Middle East. HAK-İŞ Chairman Mahmut Arslan stated in a press release on June 14, 2025, that this attack is not merely a crisis between two countries, but constitutes "a clear assault on regional peace," threatening the stability of the entire region. Arslan called on the international community to take an urgent and resolute stance against this recklessness.
"International Law Once Again Disregarded: Continuation of Genocide Policies"
HAK-İŞ Chairman Mahmut Arslan severely criticized Israel's actions in his statement. Arslan declared, "Zionist Israel, known for its ongoing inhumane practices in the Middle East and its oppression of the Palestinian people, has now once again disregarded international law by attacking Iran." It was stated that this attack is a continuation and expansion of Israel's actions in Palestine and Gaza, which HAK-İŞ characterizes as "genocidal policies" carried out for months.
Arslan emphasized that the attack targets not only Iran but the entire Middle East, deeply disturbing the already fragile balance of peace in the region. The confederation defined actions such as the bombing of civilian areas, the massacre of women and children, the obstruction of humanitarian aid, and the targeting of hospitals and schools as "war crimes" and "crimes against humanity," asserting that these actions must be investigated under international criminal law.

In its statement, HAK-İŞ clearly put forth that no country has the right to use illegitimate force against another.
