Birleşik Kamu-İş Confederation stated that while civil servants, retirees, farmers, and tradesmen face economic hardship, a few holdings and financial companies earn billions in profits, arguing these gains come from workers and laborers, ahead of the 8th Collective Bargaining Round.

KESK will establish an "alternative collective bargaining table" on Aug 1st outside the Labor Ministry to announce demands for public employees, including strike rights, fair wages, and an end to precarious employment, amid strong criticism of economic policies.
