A worker lost his life in a fire that broke out in a container at a construction site in Hatay.

The incident took place in the Erzin district. A fire erupted for reasons yet to be determined in a container where workers were staying at a construction site located in the Turunçlu neighborhood.

Upon notification, emergency medical teams, gendarmerie units, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control and extinguished through the intervention of firefighting crews.

Following the extinguishing efforts, it was determined that a 44-year-old worker, Servet Kurt, who had been inside the container, had lost his life. His body was transferred to the morgue of Erzin State Hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
