The incident occurred at a construction site located in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood. Muhammet Arda Bağırgan, who was working at the site, came into contact with an electrical current from a high-voltage line passing over the construction area while welding iron profiles.

Following the incident, emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification by his coworkers. After receiving initial treatment at the site, Bağırgan was transported to Alaşehir State Hospital.

Despite all medical efforts, the young worker could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
