OFFICIAL GAZETTE APPOINTMENTS ON JULY 13, 2025: TRT MANAGEMENT RENEWED!

Ankara – Significant appointments and regulatory changes were announced to the public in today's (July 13, 2025, No. 32955) issue of the Official Gazette, published under presidential decrees. Among the decisions signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the most notable were the appointments to the Chairman and Board Members of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT).

A New Era at TRT: Here Are the New Names in Management

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT). Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı has been appointed as TRT General Manager and a member of the Board of Directors.

The appointments for the other members of the TRT Board of Directors have also been determined. The new board members are as follows:

• Meryem İlayda Atlas Çetin

• Prof. Dr. Özer Köseoğlu

• Büşra Karaduman Aktuna

• Prof. Dr. Murat Yeşiltaş

• Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yıldırım

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Güner

It is stated that a new era will begin at TRT with these appointments.
