Memur-Sen announces its continued leadership in public sector unionism with 1,078,831 members, emphasizing its role in advocating for rights, social justice, and humanitarian aid. The confederation expresses gratitude to members as it prepares for the 8th Collective Bargaining period.
Ankara – According to the 2024-2025 data announced under the Law No. 4688 on Public Officials' Unions and Collective Bargaining, Memur-Sen has once again cemented its position at the pinnacle of public sector unionism, reaching 1,078,831 members across 11 service branches. This achievement is not merely a statistic; it is the triumph of a virtue-driven movement that fights for justice, protects the vulnerable, and safeguards the hard-earned labor of workers.
Memur-Sen views unionism not just as negotiations at collective bargaining tables but as a pioneer of civil society, acting with a union consciousness that centers on social sensitivity.
Memur-Sen is the name of an organization that was among the first to respond during earthquakes, provided immediate aid during floods, extended a helping hand to war victims, and proudly waved our flag with goodwill in impoverished geographies.
From Syria to Palestine, from Africa to the remotest corners of Anatolia, wherever there is a victim, the conscience of Memur-Sen is present. This signifies being the common voice not just of public employees but of humanity itself.
Today, Memur-Sen, beyond merely "having the most members," also holds the distinction of being the "most trusted" confederation in the public conscience. At the core of this trust lies a fair struggle, a transparent management approach, and an uncompromising stance for the benefit of the country and humanity.
This family, which has grown over the years, is united not just in numbers but in the feeling of justice, the spirit of solidarity, and moral principles.
As Memur-Sen, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our 1,078,831 members who walk this path with us. We are aware that we are a colossal family with our members, and this carries immense responsibility.
This unity is a guarantee not only for acquired rights but also for the strongest legacy to be left for the future.
As we move towards the 8th Collective Bargaining period, we will continue to protect the dignity of labor, enhance the welfare of public employees, and further advance a concept of social justice befitting our country.
This success is made possible not just by union consciousness but also by the prayers, labor, and loyalty of every member who wholeheartedly dedicates themselves.
With this belief, we say: We are fighting not just for our rights but also for humanity.
Together, we will continue to work for a more just, peaceful, and hopeful Turkey, overcoming every challenge and obstacle we face, with the strength we derive from our members. With gratitude and appreciation to our 1,078,831 members…
